This sounds like self defense, and the fact that he called the police and didn't run says a lot about the event.

No, people make that mistake a lot due to shitty reporting by the media. Skyler DeLeon wasn't a Power Ranger, he had a bit role in one or two episodes as a kid. Somehow the media picked up on that and reported it as "FORMER POWER RANGER MURDERS ELDERLY COUPLE" or something.

At least the system seems to be working. Based on the information that's been released it would be hard for them to justify holding him.

He made a lot of money from the Power Rangers franchise (Not exactly on how much they paid him, but from conventions and stuff). He also has his own sportswear brand or something, and I believe he also has a martial arts school (Not sure on this one).
