Pretty much aligns with what I expected to see. 2015 should also see a decline in traditional gaming revenue but I expect 2016 to remain flat.

Well, yeah, it's obvious a huge business so it's hard to blame companies for shifting over.

It's just very disappointing for a lot of us to watch. I simply cannot engage with the types of games that are popular - basically I've fallen out of sync with what's popular just as Abe Simpson predicted.

Mobile games of the F2P feel like the type of thing that one might have found in the film "Idiocracy". They are downright appalling.

We're going extinct, Dark.

At least there's a good amount of hard core investment via VR and the like.

Japan seems like a canary for the whole industry though.

Plus, I know I have huge backlog of legacy stuff.
 
If I was Nintendo or Sony I'd have set up separate unit making iterative mobile games 5 years ago. Brought over the old VC titles and sold each for like $5.

Big surprise is the PC market going down, despite hearing about growing support.
