Looks really good.
Don't know why I had the idead that the series was going to be with real actors lol
New piece of key art out of Japan~
Huh, weird how he says he already killed Dracula in the trailer...Trevor. It's an adaptation of Castlevania III.

So many people posting in both threads?.....
If you told me Frederator were the ones animating this i would have called you a liar.
Looks like nothing theyve ever done before, its crazy.
This looks shockingly awesome. Having just played through Castlevania 1 and IV for the first time, I am so ready for this.
Gonna check out any more of them? Silly question. I recommend Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night (frankly all the "Metroid" like ones-- there's a name for those I can't quite recall), Dracula's Curse (which this is supposedly based around, the Netflix series), Bloodlines, and yeah, by my books, Lords of Shadow. Just the first one at least.
I intend to. I'm a big metroidvania guy, and the straightforward action style of 1 and IV sorta burnt me out for a bit. Was debating playing Simon's Quest and Dracula's Curse or just moving on to Rondo then Symphony and the rest. I love the Gothic style of Castlevania, so it's something that's been on my list for a while.

Castlevania is a legit hit series in Latin America. Why Netflix Latin America?
Here's hoping they get in some classic Castlevania tracks.

His mother did before him.this is canonically the first Belmont to kill Dracula.
You really owe it to yourself to play Dracula's Curse (or even better, the JP version). It's what I would consider to be one Classicvania's best shining moments.
Bloodlines on Genesis/Mega Drive is another. Yamane made that sound chip SING.
Grant DaNasty gets no respect.

Why do people often recommend that English speakers play the Japanese versions of games? Would it be more enjoyable if you can't read the menus or the dialogue? I've had several people on here do this to me, and I don't get it.
I understand if the game was never released in the west, but I see English speaking speed runners and twitch streamers playing Japanese versions of games released in the west, and I don't get it. Is it a cool thing to do?
Trevor is Alucard's son and you can't do anything about it. 🙃Sonia does not even exists.
Man, Dracula looks too menacing in that rendition, they need to take cues from Universal Studios who knows how to make a proper Dracula

You can get the hell out of here

Because the Japanese versions are usually superior. The game being referred here, Castlevania 3, in particular has uncensored graphics and much better music (due to a different music chip being used) for the Japanese version. And because it's an action platformer, dialogue and text is minimal. It truly is a better experience when you play the Japanese version of this game. Why do people often recommend that English speakers play the Japanese versions of games? Believe me-- I was by no means being serious.
Oh, I thought that was Trevor throwing the Daggers. Hype restored. Was he not the one throwing the daggers?
Shh, we're supposed to forget Legends exists because IGA said women are weak and only good for being sacrificed.
See?

Oh I know, it's a reflex. I'm still reeling from seeing that one in the theaters. I lash out whenever someone brings that version up.
