There are probably a lot that played this but not many I know IRL, original SF#1:
Also for a real winner my brother and I coded our first game decades ago, it was a text adventure called "Hunt The Wumpus" from a text book. Then we coded our first space text based game, sort of like Space Quest without graphics. Either of those are likely winners for no one else playing.
Here's some more
I have this game for the pSp. My fists would hurt after playing a round on the original buttons. I mean huge buttonsThere are probably a lot that played this but not many I know IRL, original SF#1:

Every 6 months or so when some variation of this thread pops up, I post this image and no one else has played it. Metal Gear Solid/ Silent Hill tricked me into buying anything Konami back in the PS1 era.
All really well made games. The Tiny Toons game even has a mini game version that is essentially G&W clones with Tiny Toons characters.
That yu yu hakusho for the GBA
Watch me get proved wrong
I can't think of anything I've played that was that obscure. Best I can do is this stupid flash game I spent most of my college IT class playing called Nanaca Crash
Wetrix is AWESOME. I own aqua aqua too. =DCouldn't figure out how the game worked. Worst gift I've ever received.
Own it. Played it a bit.SaGa Frontier
1. Reader Rabbit
On mobile so no pics.
Played crazy castle 3 (I own the first 3,actually)
I've played dokapon kingdom and ehrgeiz. Own both on disc. FUCK dokapon kingdom.
Friend had it. Played it a bit.I don't think this game was that popular...
Another side, another story was awesome. Beat it.More obscurities:
Have it, played a bit of it. I completely agree with you about the PSX library. Threads of Fate comes to mind (not an SRPG, though). It was not an A tier SRPG, but it was a good one. PSX had a SHITLOAD of those midtier great games man. What a console, jesus.... god bless CDROMs allowing devs to enter the industry in droves back then and experiment more.
Come on, man.Capitalism Ho
This series was awesome.Deception
I have no idea why but I loved this game
Played a friend's copy.Another classic that no one mentions on gaf...
Own it because I was a Gackt fangirl, but the game was surprisingly fun. Loved running up buildings.Bujingai
Own it. Cool game.Ring of Red on PS2.
Only the greatest srpg ever made that's not called Valkyria Chronicles.
One of my all time favorites, Skygunner.

I played that. Got to the end of the game but never beat it. It was kind of a Resident Evil clone. One of my favs back in the day
...Such a rad game
Played it and loved it. I was Extreme, I think the name of the corporation was. Red fire guys. Probably the first game I ever played online. Made me forever want to start a heavy industries business named Toyco.
