She found one listed as brand new, and the list was at 199.99
On a whim she bought it, we're awaiting to see what random stuff we get shipped to us in a box of a Nintendo Switch. Luckily her order is backed by Amazon if this is indeed what I feel might be that a scam.
I just have thoughts running through my head we'll end up like that guy who ordered that TV from Slickdeals that arrived smashed into a hundred pieces.
Why even deal with all of that just to have a really low chance of saving $100?Tell the delivery person you need to check contents before signing for it to make sure its arrived in good condition. When it ends up being a brick in a Switch box refuse to accept delivery. There'll then be a record that delivery was refused and when Amazon look into it the delivery person can also back up the fact that it wasn't a genuine product.
Why even deal with all of that just to have a really low chance of saving $100?
lol
I'm glad you're taking the hit for the sake of our entertainment OP. What's the estimated delivery day?
Why not?
Parents buy something for their kids, they do something really bad before they get the gift, parents get rid of said gift.
Why even deal with all of that just to have a really low chance of saving $100?
lol
more like a Wii U and a Gamecube duct taped together
and a game boy advance
am i doing this right?
Of course it's a scam, and a common one. They'll mark it as shipped and keep the money from amazon.
What's with the spate of hyper-gullible people falling for these scams?
What on earth goes through your head? Why would you think there was any even remote chance that you would get a brand new just released $300 item for $200?
PT Barnum was right.
It's going to be a box containing a single pregnant snake
Dude, brother, no!
Of course it's a scam, and a common one. They'll mark it as shipped and keep the money from amazon.
Oh man that was a great thread :lol
Yeah, that's a scam.
There's a thread about this on Reddit, too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSw...sa_be_careful_ordering_from_amazon_right_now/
Some sellers are saying that their accounts have been hacked.
Also, who buys a $300+ system and sells it for $200 to spite their kid? The thing released less than three weeks ago. If it's brand new, why not return it?
Two WiiUs duct taped together.
The thing though is the person selling it has a vast Amazon store, and seems to be a regular seller.
She's hoping that it's a case that this person bought it for their kid(s), they misbehaved, and now are selling it to spite the kid(s).
It will be this
