...I legit had no idea Zero Punctuation was still a thing. It's almost surreal to see those drawings with new games like Horizon.

I'm still between palace 2 and 3 and I haven't played in like a week... I really need to get back to it. I super enjoyed what I played so far so I don't want to fall off completely and then never go back to it.

I've just hit summer break (post-Palace-3) and I'm really invested in the story now. All the new wrinkles they've added have me super excited to see what comes next.

it's neat that they put it in though, but i'm sure it would be super frustrating to just actually play and then lose tons of progress for no reason.

At that stage of the game you should have at least one or two s links that would save you from a fatal attack!

I would be very happy if we got this amount of content in a week more consistently throughout the year. UPF was good and I like that they were reading chat and answering some questions. I'm looking forward to hearing about/seeing who the new hires are.

It's basically a podcast game for me now. Thankfully it's not really something you need audio for to play 90% of the time (especially as non-main story stuff isn't even voice acted). I mostly just want it to end, the game is way too long for its own good.

Having finally finished Yakuza 0, boy,
I kept expecting a gradual shift in Majima's behavior to where he's at in 1. It'll be some whiplash when they get to Kiwami, but if they like Nishitani, it balances out.

I will never understand just wanting to finish a game for the sake of it.
If you're bored just stop playing and use your time on something you enjoy.

It's weird, they had the whole game to get there, but really didn't.
I don't mind for Y0's sake because I love Majima in that game, but it kinda handwaves the total U-turn into crazytown at the end there.

edit to the edit: oh wait, just rewatched it and Majima
doesn't speak to her in the epilogue, that's a bit more understandable. Still, the one-eyed mysterious badass should have been a straight giveaway. It does seem like she's kinda wondering, but still.

Part of me feels it's to leave the door open for (Yakuza 0, 1, and 5 spoilers)
another prequel in the 7 year gap or even 10 year gap without Kiryu. Plus when I first saw Majima starting out in Sotenbori, I kept expecting the story of how Majima met Mirei Park and Katsuya. That said, I wouldn't mind another prequel set in the 90s.

I know they like to shit on it but MK8's HD rumble or whatever is actually kind of neat. Not game changing but was a pleasant surprise after Zelda didn't really have any perceivable use of it.
