OP. Last month I went also to Boston & NYC.
In Manhattan you should try Levain cookies on the upper west side. It is a must. Also you should try Joe's Pizza on Carmine street.

Also if you like to know the history of NYC the you definitely need to visit tge Museam of the City of New York. It is on the upper East Side. Very modern display methods. Not many people know about it.

I'll be happy to share with you some more tips with pictures through Instagram. You can find me @ Hamadeen85.

Read about joes pizza at other places so were gonna check em out. I'm staying in midtown near Penn station and MSG.

Gonna check out that museum, if not many know about it is good if its not as busy then. :)

When you underestimate full portion.

Oh, if you're heading to Newburyport, go over the bridge to Salisbury and get some food at "The Deck". Might be around a half an hour wait or if it's a nice day out, but it's probably one of the top spots to eat in the area atm.

Just had fish tacos for lunch at the deck, they were delicious.

Got some gelato from dolce freddo gelato as well. Mmmm

Went to Reginas pizzeria, north end location for my final night in Boston. Hot damn if it wasnt the best pizza i have had in my life! Sooo good crust, tomato sauce and perfect mozzarella. zomg

Why do you love putting huge stadiums so far off in U.S? Went to the U2 concert last night, the concert was great of course and the venue itself was top notch but getting back was mayhem and clusterfuck. Atleast i could find a Uber pretty fast, others were not so lucky. But why on earth was not Uber pool available? My driver couldnt pick more people up cus of that (illegal for them to take cash as payment apperantly) i felt bad being the only one in my ride, i asked if we could help some people out that were waiting there. Also cost a whopping $90. Worth it since my feet were aching after being standing for hours in GA. But today i got a seat so that will be chill.

I get why people warned me on going to Gilette stadium since its even farther away from where i was staying.

So have been back home in Sweden couple of days now. So thought it was time to post about my trip. Short summary for the each day with imgur galleries.

Saturday 6/24
First day i spent exploring some of downtown Boston, then went out to Fenway Park, later did a pre-game tour and then went to the game. Had a ball, pun intended!

Sunday 6/25
I spent the day going out for lunch to Sunset grill & tap then i went to the observation deck at Prudential Tower. After this i went briefly out to Harvard and Harvard sq. Then i went to italian dinner in north end, amazing food.

Monday 6/26
Took the train out to Newburyport to have Lunch at The Deck in Salisbury, lol. Then i spent a few hours in Newburyport, had some amazing Gelato. Then went back to Boston, where i took a stroll in Charlestown and finished off Freedom trail wich we never did last time out. Then i went to Regina's Pizza and had probably best pizza ever.

Tuesday 6/27
Took the train to Bridgeport where i had lunch at Frank Pepe Pizzeria in Fairfield. Then i spent the day in the hotel room just resting before i went out to watch a ballgame at Bluefish stadium.

Wednesday 6/28
Took the train to NYC from Bridgeport, checked in to the hotel, did some fast shopping then i went out to Meadowlands to see U2 at Metlife stadium. Blows my mind that this stadium cost $1.6 billion while it looks like a glorified parking garage where the concession stands are and so on. Compare it to the "cheaper" AT&T Stadium in Arlington . Anyways as allways with U2 great concert.

Thursday 6/29
Spent the most of the early day resting after being worn out during the concert. Grabbed some delicious donuts from Krispy Kreme and rested up myself before going out to concert number 2. And again, great concert even if i was in the stands this gig "felt" better.

Friday 6/30
Went out to Woodbury Commons Outlet to do shopping. Then i went out to see Baby Driver and had an amazing theatre experience at a Dolby Atmos theatre. Great great time. Very good movie as well. Did a quick visit to Times Sq but man is it too busy and crowded to be enjoyed.

Saturday 7/1
Took a 6 hour guided tour that started at the Cohen statue at Times Sq at 9.30 am and ended at 9/11 memorial at around 3.30 pm. Best way to experience New York as a newcomer tourist probably. The guide is a passionate new yorker and tells you in debth about the places.

Sunday 7/2
Went to the 9/11 memorial museum, very much recommended. Then at night i went to Broadway to catch the Book of Mormon musical and had a blast! Can't recommend this one enough.

Monday 7/3
Took the cable car over to Roosevelt Island, had some Starbucks, then took it back. Walked down to Trump Tower and did a quick visit. Fun to have seen irl. Then back briefly to hotel before going to a visit to Governors Island

Tuesday 7/4
Spent the day having a fourth of july extravaganza! First the Hot dog eating contest at Coney Island and then the Fireworks over East River. Very good fourth of july!

Wednesday 7/5
Unfortunately my last day in the US for this time. Had some going back home angst... Spent the luch hours and the hours before heading to the airport by going to The Met, then my last meal and lunch was of course a Bacon double cheeseburger!

Hope you enjoy the post. The US remains my favourite place to go and visit abroad, always have a amazing time there. Hope to go back soon! To visit in the fall and catch some NFL football, been long overdue.
