I hope the animals/peds/traffic make it into Gta Online too. I also hope there is a little more sealife.

You would of thought if they were showing it off at some retailer event it probably is due to them securing the retail advertisement space.I waited to play this. Ive avoided all spoilers outside of trailers. Ive never said this, but:

Well, the last gen versions rarely even ran at that framerate, so 30fps is a big improvement.

sounds good in general but i'm not going to buy it again just because animals and trees have new textures I barely had any interaction with either on the original game.

looked like 1080p?, what about the frame rate? 60fps on PS4 is a big ask but man will i double dip so hard that even George Costanza himself will get angry at me.

There is 0 chance you will see 60 FPS GTA on consoles
You do know this is coming out on PC, right? Doubtful it will be 25fps on consoles.

If the claims being made sounded unrealistic or overly hyped, you'd have a point, but most of what they're saying can already be seen in the trailer.
He/She gave specific examples of improvements, all which don't sound that absurd at all.
i was already going to buy this D1, but it's good to hear how far they're going with it.

Well we'll supposedly see a new trailer soon so all we can do is wait.

I'll imagine someone modding Occulus Rift Support and first person mode into the game... I will be walking the beaches at sunset for hours.... walking at the beaches looking at the beaches...

Foliage has been completely reworked. Tree barks been redone, individual grass blades, wild flowers etc. This applies to underwater areas as well. Completely reworked coral reefs and underwater plants.
Street detail is massively improved. Rain water now pools up on the road and honestly reminded me of Infamous Second Sons wet roads.
Cars on the road appeared 2x more or so to me.
Draw distance now is INSANE. One example they showed us was the main city at night. They showed it on PS3 first amd showed us how all lighting at a distance was pre baked. In the remaster its all pre loaded in real time and is dynamic. You can see lights and traffic flow from massive distances.
