I hope they add in more than just the stuff that was cut during development. While it would be really nice, at the same time there's a lot more they could do with Radio Mirror Park. I'd love to see some CHVRCHES, Joywave, and M83 on it, maybe another song by Jai Paul. A lot of the stuff cut from it wasn't that great.
For some of the stations that are supposed to play new stuff, it'd be great to see stuff from the past year included in it.

I thought GTA V radio was amazing. The people they got to host the radio stations was nuts.

They likely have an internal release date they are aiming to meet, and probably don't want to announce it till they know they can meet it. That release date hasn't changed, we just don't know what it is yet.
Damn, would have had that on all the time, such a shame we didn't that or a similar one. Would be a great surprise if the rerelease came with Nightride FM.

holy shit lol I had the same thought. Would be a fucking riot if you pull up to a stop light or slow down near a crowd and the peds start dancing to your music lmao.
It doesn't?GTA4 (on PC) doesn't have a radio off option, which kinda drives me crazy.
It drives me crazy as well. You really should be able to turn them off in SP and in MP.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the GTAV soundtrack.
But it was a nice surprise when I was driving through the desert using Michael and Lady Hear Me Tonight from Modjo came up. It was sooo good.

The lack of a synth station was weird if.only because the tangerine dream score has a lot of similar elements. I would frequently turn off the radio to listen to it.
GTA IV's radio station was bad it still had some great songs here and there.
GTA V is probably the worst out of the bunch. Minus like maybe 2 or 3 songs its all junk.
In IV, SA, VC and 3 I was hearing songs I liked that I never heard of before, being introduced to new songs.
V, i tried to do the same, listening to radio stations hoping I would like a song but nope, pretty much all were bad. I think I have had the radio turned off more than on throughout my GTA V game time.

Yea...updating radio stations to me means that songs are being removed/replaced because of licensing disputes. Happens with all GTA rereleases.
Uh... What? I mean that happened with "Billie Jean" but in TLAD and TBOGT, we got new radio stations, new DJs, new music in addition to everything that was already there.
Unless I'm mistaken? Do you mean titles that got re-released in the 10th Anniversary editions /mobile?

Man, this makes me jealous 'cause I know SD won't be making any changes like this for it's release on PS4/XB1 in October. That's really about the only thing I'm jealous of in GTA--I'm always hearing an impressive range of hip-hop on these games.
I'm not sure it's explicitely said when it takes place, but there are songs from 2013 on the radio.

I believe any game made before 1997 is "essentially cave man art."
There were a lot of obscure songs and entire genres of music not really represented to the high levels of previous games. Or more to the point: the soundtrack sucked in comparison to some of their earlier games.

80's synth pop channel would be perfect for GTA5.
So were MSX and the Scarface station at the time. Maybe it was my age at the time (24), but it set the mood of the time in the Northeastern US/Canada perfectly IMO.

I'm sort of curious to see if the Jai Paul song gets cut, considering the weird controversy surrounding that album's release. Given the timing of GTAV's development Rockstar could have gotten permission to use that song from someone who actually had no right to give it to them.
