OP is fantastic, the OP song itself can become quite annoying though. The intro part, before the logo shows up, it's perfect. It builds to something. Then the song kind of falls apart by the amount of &#12498;&#12459;&#12522;&#12450;&#12524;.

Other than that everything was better than I expected, and I expected greatness. This is the match, guys. It's going to be epic.

This season's just 10 episodes, but this match might just be the most exciting we've seen in the series so far. Let's hope it's just as good as past seasons even with the lower episode count.

This still looks terrible on the dark theme.

Watching Haikyuu makes me incredibly happy. Won't be able to watch this season till next year though, but at least its something to look forward to.

Though apparently this isn't retroactive to the first 2 seasons.

Pretty damn excited, but also sad. It's going to be a short season and cover just the game it is titled after. I almost feel like I'll rather wait another 6 months plus and have a longer season with more story after the tournament. :(

With how long this match is I feel like this is the best way to get the most out of it, especially since there isn't enough material to fill a whole (satisfying) season after this.

Super hyped to see this final match. I'm actually happy with the ten episode season. Makes waiting for all of it to come out much easier!

What an amazing start to these season I'm so pumped up I feel like I'm standing outside a football stadium for a big marching band competition performance again. I think that's why I love Haikyuu so much it reminds of the range of emotions I had during my extra-curricular activities back in high school.

I finally got CR to play it at a resolution higher than "scrambled porn", but I don't think I'm ready for this.

This show has this way of somehow making you more hyped at the end of an episode than you were before watching it. Even after a hiatus. Except for when it decides to totally crush you, that is.

This was so hype it makes everything else feel irrelevant. They set the finals up perfectly. Everything feels significantly more important, grander, and just on a level where it is clear they have never played before. I love all the little touches like the line up announcement, the school and distinct actually coming to cheer for them, the medals prepared, the TV crews, etc. Great stuff. The pre-OP segment was probably my favorite though. It's a very cinematic opening which feels like the opening to a Haikyuu film or something. Love it.

Lol they definitely nailed the look of a schools finals match going off personal experience. One side of the stands completely full while the other two are fucking empty.

Shiratorizawa has like the worst chant in history. It just has too many syllables, doesn't roll off the tongue at all .

Happy to see the girls captain back too.

First episode and I'm already so happy to have the show back. They pretty much nailed everything in building up to the match. Can't wait to see how the match progresses.
