Tanaka looked familiar to me and I checked and she's Cynthia Kaye Williams from Real Husbands of Hollywood. She's German/Black but Tanaka is supposed to Japanese/Black. Tanaka eyes look a bit buggy. I don't know about Vale though. I agree she looks weirdest/fakest.

Is there a benefit to doing all cinematic in engine as opposed to Blur? I mean sure they look amazing, but I've been spoiled with H2A Blur cinematics. In 7 years from now, we're going to be laughing at how poor Buck looks, just like we do for Hood.

No way dude. I totally prefer in-engine stuff over cinematics. It breaks the immersion for me.

Question about REQ cards.

How exactly do they work? Do they work like burn cards in Titanfall where I choose 3 before the match starts and they disappear after one use? Or do all the cards I have show up in the garage? If so, are they one time uses or do they disappear after the match?

Welp, DMR is going to absolutely destroy everything again, that might as well be the classic zoom they switched it to. The scope being on the screen+the glare was a decent balancing mechanic to the DMR, even if it was probably unintended.

Sad to see the whining win out when it comes to that weapon, as it was one of the few weapons that had a ADS that made sense AND nerfed the weapon some what, meh.

/unpopular opinion
I appreciate what they tried and would have been fine with it, but I prefer the classic.
I knew I liked the cut of your jib, reconfirmed from that post mate.
Thanks :]

Maybe you can get one of your Waypoint buddies who knows an Xbox forum mod to do something about this:

Hope it just looks like the CE pistol rather than a stupid paint job, just make it shiny and it will stand out.
How slick would it be if this was a skin, unchanged in all its glory:

I meant on the Xbox forums. Maybe Ozzy has some friends over there who could remove my ban lol

Huh, what are the topics there even, other than support? Hm, found the Ban FAQ:

VIOLATIONS

...

MAJOR – A severe violation is done specifically in defiance of the forum guidelines or with the sole purpose of disrupting the forum and creating havoc. This can result in a temporary suspension or immediate permanent ban based on the severity.

Examples of MAJOR VIOLATIONS:

  1. Attempting to usurp moderator and administrator authority. (If you have a problem, reach out to us directly)
  2. Posting any content which is unquestionably unethical (i.e. pornographic imagery.)
    ...

So I'm guessing you have a magnum tattooed on your dick, and you had to share it with the world after they wouldn't put it in the weekly update.

You should see where I put the Halo ring.
So shiny... So chrome...

I legit cheered when I heard them mention the Legendary Magnum.
This is a moment to remember, the day we first heard 343 mention the Legendary Magnum.

Question about REQ cards.

How exactly do they work? Do they work like burn cards in Titanfall where I choose 3 before the match starts and they disappear after one use? Or do all the cards I have show up in the garage? If so, are they one time uses or do they disappear after the match?

The REQ Cards are a tiered based system that comprises of:
Energy
EXP/ REQ level
Cards

In Warzone, when you drop in, you spawn with an AR and magnum. This is default across the mode, until you play the game. Killing spartans, bosses, and other AI enemies, as well as completing objectives like capturing a base, will raise your REQ level.

As you achieve REQ levels 1-9, tiered unlocks will become available based on what cards you have on you. You earn these cards by playing all multiplayer modes; Arena, Warzone, BTB, etc. There are some cards that give you better versions of weapons, and some that give you skins for weapons and armor sets, and even some for armor sets themselves.

Back to Warzone. Once you achieve certain levels of REQ in Warzone, you gain the ability to switch out your primary and secondary weapons. In the E3 build, the primary weapons could be ARs, BRs, or DMRs (plural because there are other versions that boost stats like accuracy, damage, etc.) and the secondaries are currently Magnum and Plasma Pistol. When you switch out for a different "default" Primary/secondary, it will stay static (BR/PP or DMR/Magnum, things like that.)

But, that's not all. You can REQUISITION (get it?) for better starting weapon either from spawn, or via REQ station that are placed throughout Warzone maps post spawn. Here, you can choose more powerful weapons, things like: Carbines, Storm Rifles, Rocket Launchers, Sniper Rifles, and, in later REQ levels, Vehicles too.

The catch to choosing all of these amazing power weapons and vehicles off of spawn? It requires REQ energy, which in game are the little green polygons under the REQ level bar on the bottom of the player HUD. Certain power weapons and vehicles require certain levels of Energy.

To explain this best, say you've achieved level 7 in Warzone REQ level. you want to spawn in with a Sniper rifle, which costs 6 Energy. You are left with 1. the other six will replenish as you play, and ARE NOT given bonuses for kills. However, if you spawn in with a level 6 item and you still have 1 left over, the other six plus one will all replenish after reaching level 8.

Any cards you unlock, you keep. Obviously there will be ones that are single use, but as far as what I can tell, it seems to be that you keep it even after you use it in the match, but you only get to use it that once during any one game.

I hope none of that was too confusing. I tried to word it as basically as I could.

Leaving the "Legendary Magnum" section of the Sprint was intentional. They wouldn't play with our hearts like that.

RIGHT??!!

Oh, my...dat shiny.

Not even possible. Proof:

That's true. I just meant with having in-engine cinematics, you can easily date yourself technically no? I mean Locke, Buck, and everyone looks superb right now. But when it's time for Halo 8 or Halo 9, they'll look more dated than if Blur or even 343 did out of game CGI cutscenes no? Then again, I know jackshit about anything so I'm probably wrong.

I just look at Arbiter, Johnson and the rest in H2A and I'm still blown away by how they look and are represented.

So the game I bought an Xbox One for came out and it didn't work, and now it might even be going to PC.

This really just feels like a cross between Titanfall burn cards, buying weapon skins, and pointstreaks. I really like Halo and want to get behind some innovation but it just feels like they are always catering to the ADD generation. Maybe I'm just getting to old?
