Oh, Silverlight still crashed when I opened the movie. But i got to the right page.
Glad I'm not the only one. I just don't understand how the people that created sliverlight put up with using it.

I've never had an issue with the stability of Silverlight itself.
Obviously rich media should always be presented with HTML5 though.

I'm on OSX now. I had trouble with it on Windows 7 as well.

I'm on OSX and don't have trouble with Silverlight. I don't love it, but many times I prefer it over Flash. It can be more stable and use far less memory, depending.
I used to be all about HTML5 video but after using it on YouTube, I'm not sure I'm a fan now. YouTube's implementation is sloooow and buggy for me. For some reason I have to constantly remove myself from the beta for it too. :/

Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I haven't had any issue with SL since it first came out.
Probably right, its always worked just fine on my iPad and iPhone, just not my computer. I find that disappointing. The quality and memory savings from HTML5 video can be so good. Dammit YouTube!
