- All songs in all difficulties take about 50 hours of playtime
- A must-buy for the fans of the series
- Might confuses for those that haven't experienced the Arcade version, but you'll get used to it in a few hours
- The songs have variety, no level requirement which is the first time in series history
- Game is very easy to play since you could change key config and icon display
- The amount of contents are overwhelming
- The practice function is also convenient
- Changing, customizing, and photographing are completeness
- An orthodox rhythm game, but easy to play

100% recommendation.

Either package has a lot of content for fans or beginners and the difficulties make it easy to start and very hard to master the game. The tools for practice help a lot in getting better.

All the faults I could possibly find are minor, so I gave the maximum score.



I thought your favorite list would be much bigger.
Then again, I put all songs that I play multiple times in it, so it got quite big.

I believe you can only preorder the bundle. On launch you will be able to download Prelude and purchase the packs separately.

The package on the PSN store right now is a preorder bundle that includes Prelude, both packs, and two dynamic themes for PS4. Presumably the individual listings will be made available when the game releases in 22 hours.

Project DIVA mainline titles average about 33 songs, so each pack is 3-4x the content of a mainline game. This is more or less a port of Project DIVA Arcade, which had its start in between DIVA and DIVA 2nd (not F 2nd - F 2nd is actually the 5th mainline iteration). Since Arcade and 2nd were developed with completely different people at the helm and for different platforms, the mechanics differ greatly.

What the hell is going on in those gifs and I ask that as an Extreme Miku player lol.

The arcade version is different from the console/portable version in a lot of subtle ways. The crafts are different (and generally harder), and there are changes to scoring, meter, inputs, pass/fail judgment (it's possible to full combo a song and fail due to achievement rate requirements) and even the songs themselves (they use different, shorter edits). The game was overhauled for arcades and honestly, most of the changes are for the better. This is even reflected in the home port, where they added things like leaderboards (why were these missing until now???) and practice mode.

Japanese PSN doesn't support foreign credit cards, so you'd have to buy JP PSN codes.

You can create japanese PSN ID and play with your US account. But you cannot use US credit card for japanese store

You could call your friend who live in Japan to buy you codes (5000+3000+1000 yen or straight 10000 yen for future DLC purchase)

Unfortunately, this controller is designed for X. Although I'm sure it will still work with Future Tone, the arcade controller looks like this (and that is a very long slider-pad above the buttons):

I wish we were getting one of these. I like to keep it as close to the actual arcade experience at home as I can.

I prefer X's look over Future Tone honestly (at least comparing the PS4 versions), even though it doesn't have as many features or songs.

I've never cared for the designs of Arcade and Future Tone, but good god, that track list @_@

Would be about $125 CAD for me to get both packs, so I'll need to wait a bit, but god I want this @_@
If I only go with one currently though, I'd still probably go with Future Sound, in spite of owning 2nd, extend, F and F2nd, lol (and X, which I'm still mixed on)
