Really Activision.....pass up Deadpool and jump on Hit-Monkey.
This guy has appeared in what 6 issues?

Could have given us an Agent X or UDON Taskmaster game first.
But i guess because Hit Monkey is so "rare" they can do whatever the fuck they want with him and no one will be upset.

I don't really see how Hitmonkey is less generic than Deadpool gameplay-wise. He'd still just be a humanoid character with guns, it's all in the execution really.

The very fact that you're a monkey would change how you move about various areas, and maybe your interactions with people too.

There's no reason why both can't be in the game though.

It only makes sense that a studio as high-profile as High Moon would make a full Deadpool game rather than be risked in a game of a meta-joke ... but it would be smart for Activision to take notice of how just the Hit-Monkey tease landed well and make like a mini-game (assuming there isn't the same thing inside the Deadpool game) on PSN/XBLA that's just Hit-Monkey. Just the novelty of a game with a hitman monkey could do well even for those not Marvel universe fans, and if if it does well, they'd have two fronts to use the license depending on how the Deadpool product sells.
