After watching some Russian dash cam videos, I think Russians are trained to defy death just to get around from day to day. So getting these photos is like no biggie to them. From my perspective as a weak American they're amazing photos though.

Personally, these kinds of pics always mess me up. I only started suffering from vertigo once I got older, so now I have this schizophrenic appreciation of photos like that. A tiny part of me goes "Whoooo, I wanna try that!" and the rest of me clenches all orifices shut and starts screaming inwardly. So weird.
