Yup. Bought one about 2 months ago to co-op Dark Souls 3 with a buddy of mine. Turns out, my buddy is suddenly super busy, so he can't play, and DS3 also runs and looks like absolute ass on the system. It's completely unplayable for me. With no worthwhile exclusives now or on the horizon, I cannot wait to sell this thing. Such a disappointing system.
Doesn't it run poorly on every console?
I know this is a video game forum but is anyone else like this?
Always find it slightly peculiar that people buy a console on which they say there is nothing worth playing, as if it's some weird revelation. Like, do some research beforehand: either you'll be confirmed in your thinking, or you'll find that actually, there are some good games there that might take your fancy. Because there are, but hey, your loss.
As for general gaming ennui however, purchases will never break that in my experience. False promises.
Biggest reason I bought it over the PS4 is 4K Blu-ray. EA Access was also a factor.
You bought it for a non-gaming function, it's not surprising you're not playing games on it.
I bought an XB1S and had to pack it up and put it in the closet. I bought it when I was working full time and had a ton of extra income each month and time to buy and play all the games I wanted. Now that I put myself back in engineering school, I didn't have the time or finances to support 2 consoles even though I liked the XB1S more than my PS4. It all came down to where my friends were playing. I miss it, but I'll bring it back out when Sea of Thieves comes out and I'll be very happy I have it for Halo 6 next year.
Almost definitely. It'll have been three years since Halo 5. That's the Halo release cycle span.Halo 6 is coming out next year??
Sounds like you have reached that point in your life where you value gaf ot more than gaf gaming.
Welcome. We have been waiting for you.
Check people's posts any of the HDR threads. There are different color spaces and standards, so studios aren't grading/releasing HDR consistently and plus different inputs are handled differently on most TVs. You usually need adjusting when going between SDR/HDR sources to get the best image on both, and the HDR from your TVs Amazon app for instance may be different than a HDR game or UHD movie.Hmm. Well I set my HDR settings once for everything. I'm not changing them around for different content. I have been fairly satisfied, but it depends on the content creator. The Revenant look amazing and Horizon Zero Dawn in HDR was also great. On the other hand the movie The Arrival was terrible and HDR didn't seem to make much of a difference for the Last of Us. Maybe you need to get a professional calibrator to come over.
More than anything else, this feels like vindication for Sony!lol, no. I only have one.
