Ok, I know, most here were unable to get one most likely, since supply was obscenely limited.
I went to WM the morning it came out, at 6 AM, and managed to get a manager to sell me one despite a bit of confusion. Came home and crashed but when we dug into it later we played it quite a bit for a month or two. We tried out games like Bubble Bobble and played the full way through SMB1-3 (using some save states, I'm not too proud to admit).
So, if you did get an NES Classic, did you end up playing it much? Or was it more of a conversation piece? If you played, was it your first time playing any of these?
I still want to play the first two Zeldas. Especially Zelda II given the complaints I've heard about how obtuse burning various bushes can be in OG Zelda.
I'm interested in how people set theirs up by their TV, or in a display case, or as a neat desk paperweight, as well, so feel free to share pics.
