many campaigns tend to do it either at the start or after it hits the funded goal.
It seems like a smart idea to post it after the funded. Don't want any ignorant negativity of "well why didn't they add these to the game with the 1.5 goal? I don't want an unfinished game"

This is also my first time contributing to crowdfunding and since I've been following this for yonks I figured I, like many others, should come out of lurking and chip in. Firstly, hats off to the entire team for getting this to where it is so far. It's simply admirable the amount of time, effort, and love you guys have put into this project. The transparency over the course of this campaign and the communication in this thread is just icing on the cake. As a Korean gamer, I really can't stress enough how cool it is to see a game in this cultural context being made, especially when it's shaping up to be a genuinely great one. In the greater scheme of video games in general, I feel like Indivisible is the epitome of the kind of representation that we need to see more of, and if for nothing else this is why it needs to succeed - which by the looks of it it will very soon! I'm very much looking forward to this, cheers guys.

I kinda wonder about this now. People really mobilized to get the extension then the momentum died down for a long time. If there had been no extension, would there have still been a mega push to get us funded in the last few days? It would have been a lot harder, but still it's hard to say what would have happened.
It's a lot safer with the extension, of course.
Indiegogo often takes 10-15 minutes to really update it's numbers. So it could in theory be fully funded right now and we wouldn't know until their servers updated everything.

Possibly, but seeing as the campaign was four days from deadline when it got the extension, I'd have a hard time seeing that happen. Would've needed to be the mother of all pushes. <_<;;

The biggest advantage of the extension wasn't the extra funding days so much as the time to do extra interviews, get more guests, etc. It also improved the optics which I think left potential backers feeling more optimistic. Raising 600k in 4 days is doable for a high profile crowdfunding campaign but it would have been real risky and a lot or people might have held back thinking "well it has no chance anyway".
Lucky for me I don't have to be up early this Wednesday. I'm here to watch the proverbial ball drop <3

Love it. The colouring and the pose is great stuff; the blues especially and the way you're working them is blowing my mind...! I can only do that by accident.
I agree, won't lie when I say that was a huge push for me too. The cast is diverse as hell and I adore it. The VP-meets-metroidvania aspect was the other half.... Damn, and the OST is the extra 10% to make it 110% excited.
