I sometimes feel that the fate of console RPGs is dependent on FFXV, and although I'm not a huge fan of the FF series (nor do I like the action direction they are taking with this one), I'm still hoping it comes out awesome and does really well for itself so it can usher in a new age of console RPGs. Hate to see my favorite genre go cellphone only...
After that E3 demo, the combat looked lame and boring. I'm afraid its going to be a Skyrim 2.0 ( amazing world to explore with bad combat)
Also I have my doubts with Evil Within. I want to love it but I just can't at the moment.
Rainbow Six: Siege.
Reason: Ubisoft will always ubisoft.
The Last Guardian.
Just kidding, it'll be awesome.
Ratchet and Clank Redux
~ Worried it might just be a little side project whilst Insominiac's A team works on Sunset Overdrive
I'm going to echo the sentiments here on Evil Within. There aren't that many games coming out soon that I want, and most of them I can safely assume will be really good.
Evil Within I could see going either way. On the one hand, It's Mikami! REmake, RE4, God Hand, Vanquish, and Shadows of the Damned (which he didn't direct but assisted on) are all some of my favorite games ever made. The man seems incapable of making a mediocre game. But at the same time, the previews seem relatively lukewarm. It's also been a long time since Mikami created a straight horror game.
I wouldn't be surprised for it to be a GOTY contender, but I also fear it might be mediocre and forgettable. We'll see.
Thanks for being reasonable. The amount of "JRPG fans" I've seen waiting with bated breath for the failure of this game is downright depressing. Aside from the fact that it's been my most hyped game since 2006, I really want it to do well, so Japanese pubs can be like, "oh hey, new consoles are kinda sorta viable for big JRPGs".I sometimes feel that the fate of console RPGs is dependent on FFXV, and although I'm not a huge fan of the FF series (nor do I like the action direction they are taking with this one), I'm still hoping it comes out awesome and does really well for itself so it can usher in a new age of console RPGs. Xenoblade on the Wii U. I love the first game so much that if this one sucks I might jump off the window. I live on the 4th floor, so there's a remote chance I'll survive.
Add me to the final fantasy tally.
Also ground zeros cover mechanics, aka lack of being able to properly stay in cover or hugging a wall etc like you could in the previous games has made me worry mgsv will be bad, or at least too much of a change gameplay wise!
Came here for this. Was not disappointed. My hype is incredibly deflated. It looks stunning but the gameplay looks like it will be the opposite of fun for me.The Order 1886.
The Order 1886.

Really hope Mass Effect turns out good after ME3 though and the Omega DLC I still worry if they know what made the series great in the first place.
I'm already reserved to the fact that Smash 4 will most likely play far more like Brawl than Melee since I believe it's using a similar physics engine? (anyone with source?). The roster looks great tho, so I'll probably get it down the line.Everyone's afraid to say it, but Smash 4.
I still remember Brawl.
And for people who have played it, remember that he could still change his mind before the release and use a completely different build.
I'm sure it will be good, but I'm still nervous.
