Wait, the slowdown wasn't faked? Gou totally looked like his legs fell asleep or something.
This isn't like clock-up or a big CGI blowout. So why are they cheaping out on a simple slow-motion effect?
I guess that's because the slowdown affects selectively so either they have to shoot twice (therefore budget!) or shoot once with some actors acting the slowdown.
I'm...not sure what happened to the budget, lol.
