FAQ
Q: Should I play this before KH3 comes out?
A: Yes, if you never have it KH1 is essential. Re:Chain of Memories is less important (I consider it to be very fun anyways) and 358/2 is the least important (Though you get a bunch of trophies for just WATCHING it. Might as well...)

Q: Why did this take so long?
A: It was basically done by a team of 2 programmers who had to extract the games code from a retail copy of KH Final Mix because they lost the original code... and then update the models, add some features and translate the text into English.

Q: Why is KH2 not in this collection?
A: Square is greedy. Why make one game when you could make 2 (with subsequent Versions, mixes, Re:hashed editions, etc.) Seriously though, there may be some claim to the idea that in order to do the entire series (presumably Birth by Sleep, KH2, coded(?) included) it would have been worth more than the price of your usual HD Rerelease so it kinda makes sense.

Q: Should i expect a 2.5?
A: It has been all but confirmed. Should be announced soon.

Q: Why do they say Sora is everyone in every dimension?
A: Sora=χBlade=(7light)(13dark)+D2D. If that hasn't cleared it up for you i dont know what will.

Q: Which weapon do I choose in the intro sequence?
A: Staff always.

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days, albeit not playable, has instead been transformed into a 2 hour and 50 minute series of cutscenes available to watch within Theater Mode. Many scenes that were originally text-based in the DS version are now full-voiced and rendered in high resolution. The scenes are organized in chapters, to give the player the option to view specific scenes at their pleasure. Roxas's Diary will be available at the very beginning, and the Secret Reports written by other members of the Organization will be so after completing the viewing.

I've always wanted (or at least try) to get into KH.
Also this comes out on my birthday. I think I might hop on this game

This will be my first time ever playing a Kingdom Hearts game. I'm looking forward to it!

I wish they had given all the trophies song title names. The Platinum trophy could've been called Simple and Clean.

Paid this off yesterday, was hoping they'd announce 2.5 in the summer but this will tide me over for a while.

It's coming out this month?!? Oh mess.

I'm getting this and it's gonna be the first time I play a KH game. Excited :D

Got mine pre-ordered, just wished the difficulty playthrough Trophies were stackable, ah well.

Great OT.

I personally think that Re:CoM has the most changes of all, it actually works on PS3.
If that got ever fixed with a system update, I wasn't aware.

Nice OP regardless.

Now I can be bored to tears in Tarzen and Alice In Wonderland worlds in HD!

For £23 pretty cool price and never got around to ReChain it will pass my week until GTAV drops through letterbox.

Advanced graphics won't hide how awkward the cutscenes are, the story has aged terribly, and I'm not feeling the new soundtrack, but damn me if Kingdom Hearts isn't a huge guilty pleasure of mine. Will be picking this up.

Loved COM to pieces, too, so I'm looking forward to my first try with Re:COM.

The Days movie should be interesting, too. Never bothered with the original.

Sooooo, an ideal place to start with the series for a total Kingdom Hearts newbie like me right?

Yes, this is basically the very first game (with new additions never before seen in the west) and the two interquels - Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days - before Kingdom Hearts 2. The only slight oddity is that Kingdom Hearts 2 actually released before Days, so watching Days first might be a little weird but nothing significant.

Fighting the Unknown Figure/Xemnas in KH1 is gonna be some heavy wish fulfillment for me from my teens. I've wanted to actually play that fight for a long time.

been meaning to replay KH1 for a while now. Now I can play in HD, w/o the horrible camera and with trophies!

Btw, maybe I'm dumb but, what does this mean?:
Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories Changes

- Having clear data from 358/2 Days unlocks keyblade themed cards from 358/2 Days in-game.
Should you watch 358/2 Days before playing Re:Com to get extra cards? I'm confused.

Cool OT. The title could be better though. I'd have went with Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX |OT| 1/2 of 3

Got my preorder ready, Day 1 baby.

Excellent, looking forward to playing this again, never got around to actually finishing Re:CoM so this will be a good time to fix that. Shame that 358/2 is just cutscenes. Also, just what is with japanese devs and "losing" the source code?
