I mean come on! Where is Suikoden VI? It's not like Konami needs a budget to make any of those games.

Even if I like MG I think like that too, but considering how many threads Metal Gear gets daily at GAF I think Konami must be satisfied.PepsimanVsJoe said:I really hope all of those MGS4 fans are happy cuz if MGS4 is the reason why I can't get a decent-looking Silent Hill 5, a Gradius sequel, a number of awesome original games, Zowie #, and freaking Rumble Roses there 2 will be no end to my disappointment.

No! Silly me thinking that Konami would do something logical. Just like expecting ToI to be released stateside. Konami and Scamco should have a love in where they discuss all their stupid ideas that infuriate any sane personduckroll said:Lots of reasons why they aren't doing that:
- It would be cost effecient
- It might actually be good
- Fans would be happy
Does that sound like anything Konami of late is interested in doing?!

1. Deforemed kiddie characters
2. Crappy cover songs
3. Gimmick steps
No. No sarcasm to be found. Only disappointment and confusion as to why Konami just doesn't release the regular DDR version for all consoles. Actually there is no confusion as I know exactly why they have a dumbed down version for the Wii.

Contra IV was good at leastPepsimanVsJoe said:I'm a huge MGS fan too but good lord it's like this gen Konami has managed to wipe out everything they've accomplished since they started out in the gaming industry in one fell swoop.

Busty said:Zoe Mode? There was a time when almost every second game being mentioned to me had Zoe Mode involved in some way.
Still, it's nice to see a publisher like Konami turn to a European developer....right?
I was thinking the same thing. It seems beyond Kojima's output and the Pro Evo franchise that Konami are in danger of becoming a little irrelevant.
It's when companies like this start to become less relevant and their line ups become a little forgettable that people start talking about mergers and coporate take overs.
Start your conclusion jumping people!!!!

Looks awesome. Is this really the only interesting new stuff from the event though? :\Lee N said:

Watching someone play a rhythm game is not the apex of fun. Yet someone at Konami thought it would be a great idea to show off Rock Revolution by playing the ENTIRETY of Whitesnake's "Still of the Night." Shortly after I discovered I had no knife to stab myself with, I turned to the person next to me and said, "I don't remember there being a 12-minute version of this song."
Also, Konami was so paranoid about "leaks," its representatives refused to give out art assets until 10:30 at night. When I politely explained that both Konami and Sega had game events happening concurrently, and that I needed to leave to visit the other party, the woman asked if I could come back to get the disks.
Finally, we walked out of the party with art disks after a second representative told us not to tell anyone we had them. "I can't give you the [tchotchke] bag!" he warned us. Apparently that would have been a dead giveaway.
Sega's party had fireworks. Sigh.
