Just ordered a US copy from PlayAsia :) It'll probably get a while to get to Aus though... I'm glad I'm getting the cart since it comes with a manual and the cute little pictures in the cutouts of the game box :3

Have you even slept? Take a break, you've earned it.
Yes, of course I've slept (´・_・`)

So I just beat the game, went for Trixie's ending. (Each girl seems to have their own ending)
The game seems to have a quite a bit of replayability, more details below.

Gonna try to make this as spoiler-free as possible.

So, there is a New game+
You can choose to carry over 2 of your party member's levels and 5 items.
Heart event progression and all of your money carries over as well.
You won't be able to get Diana, Francesca, or Adelheid's endings on your first playthrough.

To get a character's ending you need to do their 3 heart events before a certain point in the game. For those 3 characters I specified above, their heart events aren't even completely available by that point. What you can do though is do their heart events after that and get their ending on a second playthrough since they carry over to new game+.
You also won't be able to view all the heart events in one playthough sadly.

I'll be taking a break now, loved the game. Thanks for bringing it over, XSEED.

Picking this up simply because Rune Factory. Probably not going to play it in a little while, though...

First review is up

Destructoid - 7/10
I enjoyed my time with Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven, despite the fact that it felt a tad unfinished at times. The combat system is fast-paced, the cast is likable, and the animation style looks excellent on Nintendo's newest portable. If you curb your expectations a bit, strategy-oriented JRPG fans will find a charming little flawed adventure in Magna.

If you mean the thing where a character asks for a specific item for something in return then nope..
Only did one I think, forgot all about those.

Yep, that's the one.

My OCD is killing me and I can't find a Purple Necklace for the life of me. I feel like I would've completed this game already if not for that one request.

I ordered my copy. The combination of it coming from the Rune Factory people and the fun looking combat system sold me. Now I just need to put down my WiiU Game Pad and stop playing Splatoon.

Ugh, cause I totally forgot about this game, I forgot I preordered it at Gamestop.
They didn't send me any texts or anything, so I ordered it from Amazon on Monday. Only found out cause I found a receipt.

I have 3 hours or so (slacking off again) and the story/combat ratio is messed up. at least, it feels like it. dialogue, even at max, take forever. talk, wait one second, expression, wait one second, action, wait one second, repeat. feels sluggis

the story content is alright, I get it. main guy wants to uphold his values, cute chicks are appearing out of nowhere, childhood friend can't confess, funny guy sidekick, maids are sweet, this is fine with me

combat is actually really fun. closest thing I'll get to a bowling game that isn't Wii Sports. which pissess me off all the more that a cutscene that should only take 30 seconds becomes one minute. and after a cutscene, there's another cutscene. I wanna fight more ;_; but there are free battles so that's good

Trixie is my fave. I can tell she'll still be my favorite even after I get the whole gang.

Ordered mine from Amazon a few days ago, and I checked on where to track my package because it was supposed to arrive at my house yesterday by 8:00 p.m. It didn't arrive at all yesterday and I was at home the entire time. I'm going to call Amazon to see what happened.

The model animation is weird. At first I though the game was running at 5 fps but apparently it wasn't, took awhile to get used to...

Just came in!
Wow, is this really the full OST?
Seems pretty meaty compared to most Atlus stuff.

Good on XSEED.

This game looks very cute. I can't believe this is my first time hearing of it. I may get this game sometime soon
If I can shrink my backlog :(

Yep! Only song missing is the opening vocal theme -- sadly, we couldn't get the rights to distribute that one on CD (though it's still in-game!).

-Tom

Is it the only physical release of the OST? I couldn't find a Japanese release. If so wow that's super impressive.

Yep! There is no Japanese soundtrack. There is only our soundtrack. Because we're just THAT COOL. ;)

(Also, dig the Moyashimon avatar!)

Yay! I checked back on Amazon and it updated by telling me it arrived in the mailbox! I finally got it! Whew. I'm a happy panda.

Had a free hour so I finally put down Splatoon for a moment and dug into it. At the start of Ch.3 now. Maybe it's harder to do in the first 2 chapters, but I had trouble consistently bowling a 10 hit combo. Combat system has some similarities to Shining Force Feather but mostly in a surface level sort of way. Also, story wise, I guess it's similar in that they both start with a male lead finding the (non-human?) female lead in a cave and awakening her.

WOW!! I'm so glad I imported from the US... I hope I don't get too attached to the opening song, that would drive me crazy not being able to own a CD of it!

(heehee, someone recognises A. oryzae ^___^)

I "only" have an European and Japanese 3DS..so no way I'm gonna get those Tracks? 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

And no retail for us ._."?

Oh well. I think I'll still buy it? It just looks too good somehow. Like something new

EDIT: woah a manual in full colour o_o"

this game is endorsed by Enrico Pucci.

Best post in this entire thread.

Anyway, just got this game, and I'm pleasently impressed by the tactical bowling pin gameplay and the criminal amount of cuteness in this game.

That damned inn is a prison of emotional blackmail though. First I get forced by my dad to throw my life away in a deadend industry with no future because family bullshit, and then I offer food and lodging to an amnesiac girl seemingly for free before changing her status from guest to indentured servant at the last minute.

For what it's worth, I wrote the review for Nintendo World Report and only got the code on Friday of last week. I did roll credits before writing the review, though.

If I may link:

Yay.

Thought I should note that when you zoom in as much as you can on a screen when there are a lot of enemies, the game seems to move much more smoothly. Something I myself discovered by accident, haha. I liked zooming out because I like seeing the entire field, though.

Bought the game and so far it is fun!

But I'm bitter about the coloured Manual. Any chance to get that as a pdf?
