Marvel Legacy's "Big Return" Revealed

American comics have absolutely no end in sight. They're meant to be a revolving door stories centered on iconic superheroes. If there was an endgame than keeping a hero dead to move the story along towards the finale would make sense. But when your X-men comics are still going to go on for 50 years and your iconic and very popular characters are dead for decades people always want those characters to eventually come back. And your sales will also want those characters come back.

Spiderman and wolverine are not the same kind of self-contained story as something like Sandman.

Spider-Maid.
Spider-Ma'am, actually.

Isn't that Vandal savage's story?

No, depending on when you ask him. Vandel is either Cain or a caveman that got hit with a meteor.

Fun fact about Savage, did you know Speedy aka Red Arrow aka Arsenal is his direct descendant?

We found out because in the 90s there was a story where Savage's organs were failing and he went around taking spares from his bloodline..

Honestly he probably has enough to create a country

Well shit I did not know that. Roy Harper gets more interesting to me every year.

Honestly since we've had Old Man Logan around the entire time Wolverine's been dead it never really felt like he was "gone" in the first place.

Yup he is going back to being Falcon in his new series.

Not being Cap was definitely going to happen at some point, but being Falcon again is too much of a downgrade.

I disagree.

Old Man Logan is much more like OG Wolverine.

The character has been written differently enough the past 10 years that he feels completely different.
