not really when you're known for paying your actors shit salaries

You pay them shit salaries when they join you, and then back the brinks truck up when it's time to re-up them for more movies.

The one-off characters are usually critical darlings who don't make huge money on most of the films they do, anyway.

You'll notice in the concept art for the Vulture costume it's made up of a fighter pilot's helmet with glowing green lights where the eyes are and a pilot's bomber jacket. I wonder if that has any bearing on his origins in the MCU.

well that was a disappointment Bunch of logos and concept arts
So you're gonna ignore the fact that we got a Doctor Strange trailer & a casting reveal for Captain Marvel? Plus if you were at Hall H, you would have seen footage for Spider-Man: Homecoming & Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Another company had no problem dropping their trailers.

So we got a trailer for a movie that comes out soon and a bunch of fucking logos.

Major disappointment.

Definitely was to an outsider.

Probably not the same feeling for those inside Hall H... but yeah, agree with your sentiments.

Marvel has plenty of momentum, especially after Civil War. They have no need to build hype right now.

Pretty much. The other side needed to earn some good will so they did just that. Marvel doesn't need it anymore the same way Star Wars can wait until October to drop it's first trailer.

Another company had to prove that their films were going to be worth seeing because their last 2 films were underwhelming.

Marvel doesn't have that problem.

detailed description of spidey footage

The clip starts with the song bad reputation. “Every story, every hero, has a beginning”. We see high school yearbook photos of all the marvel characters , which appear to be real high school yearbook photos of the marvel stars. We zoom into one of the yearbook photos and cut to live action.

Peter Parker is walking down the hallway at Midtown High School. He looks up at a banner for the upcoming Homecoming dance which is being hung above some lockers.
Peter is now in science class not paying attention. Instead he is watching a video on youtube, footage of giant man from the Civil War airport battle. The teacher notices that he’s not paying attention.

Cut to woman studies class. Peter talks with his nerdy friend about a bunch of cute girls on the other side of the classroom. A girl at the table next to them notices them and gives them a dirty look.

We see a montage of Peter Parker’s day at high school, from 1pm web design class to his gym period where a group of girls plays the game F Marry Kill with marvel superheroes as Parker does pushups. The girls are infatuated by Spider-man.
Later in the day, Peter tells one of his classmates that he has to go. She responds, “What are you hiding Peter?”

We see a quick cut montage of Peter jumping on top of a moving truck, now in his Spider-man suit climbing a wall and more. Cut back to Peter not being able to respond to the high school girl.

We end on the Spider-man: Homecoming logo on high school notebook cover.

Oh, and a button to the comic con sizzle reel shows a character who appears to be Vulture falling down from the sky towards the camera. That’s right, Vulture is finally confirmed for Spider-Man Homecoming, although we still don’t know if he will be played by Michael Keaton or another actor.
