Eh, it's not just a movie reference. The spider-sense Matrix dodge is a trademark of his in the comics, and he doesn't actually catch the bombs and throw them back in the Spider-Man movie. The bombs aren't even the same design as in the movie.
It's honestly the most Spider-Man-feeling move he has.
I specifically mean the design of the bombs that have the razor blades that have only been a thing in the movie.
He super does at one other point (I think it's against New Goblin tho)

To me it's kinda more like referencing a non-canon DBZ movie in the most abstract way possible.
Goku in the Budokai series had a Dragon Fist ultimate that started with him charging a Spirit Bomb. It's a reference to his killing blow against Cyborg 13 in that movie (charges a Spirit Bomb, but realizes he can't fully charge it so he absorbs it and punches C13 instead), but he didn't even use Dragon Fist for the first time until a movie that came out like 7 years later, and he's never actually used a Dragon Fist charged by a Spirit Bomb in any other context.

Is it just me, or are the characters even more chatty than they were in previous games? I guess that wouldn't bother me so much, except I have yet to hear a character with a decent-sounding voice actor, maybe aside from Spider-Man.

Looks like the mind storm does give you infinite gauge for its duration, Haggar does his level 3 and it's still at 4 bars.

So that's the Resident Evil stage? WOW, what a piece of shit. Sorry but you can't even tell that's an RE stage especially with the huge ass modok sitting in the middle. Unless a tyrant crawls out of the middle or some other such fanservice stuff happens in the background. Though I guess a lot of the stages have been one sided. Mega Man road or whatever it's called and then the rest being predominately Marvel focused from what we have so far off the top of my head.
So far the Monster Hunter X Black Panther stage is the best one in terms of being a crossover stage.
