And this is Rockstar, yknow; any game that doesn't do 750K or so is considered bomb bomb for 'em. Still, I liked RDR more than most of my colleagues, so good on 'em for breaking 200k.

It sold something like 460K in March and then fell off the face of the planet. Not too bad when you look at sales of games like Shinobi.

is halo's sale because of a lower price point? It sold more copies than pokemon but made less money. I don't see where the contention is. But its still selling I guess Pity that no other XBOX title has that longevity

Why do you think RalliSport 2 bombed? Afaik the original RalliSport hasn't sold much more than 200 000 copies in the USA (if even that). I think it sold reasonably well, and it might get close to the original's numbers in a few years.

PGR 2 bombed, RalliSport 2 did okayish.

Not with a start of 35k. The original has sold 280k and I think it started with a month of over 100k. I'd have to dig up the sales charts to be sure.

Start digging. I have numbers from Oct 2002, and RalliSport sold 12 198 copies that month, and its total then was 137 844. Intro date Mar'02. (However, I think you're right about 280k - looks like RalliSport sells some 10k each month.)

Yeah, I'm guessing the next couple months are gonna be rough despite getting good games. FSA, ToS, and DKonga all great, but won't sell well at all. I bet FSA will probably do 60k-120k.
