Was kind of expecting sales for the XB1 to jump over 1,000 but damn. Retailers didn't even want to take that much I guess.

FFXV is gonna flop hard. In coming bargain bin price. If the JP version has English dub I will grab one from Play Asia. Need to save money.

Wonder if word of mouth and continued support could let Titanfall 2 to be a sleeper hit, not unlike Rainbox Six: Siege

Oh god, Princess is Money Hungry came out this week lol. Didn't even realise!

Good one NIS. Better luck next time.

Too bad about the sales, but I think the price point was too high. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, but it is more of a 2,500 or 3,000 yen game. anyway, I hope they release it outside of Japan too..vita owners would like this one

Looking at the hardware charts, 2016 could be the first time in about 15 years since Sony moves more hardware than Nintendo.

3DS could make up the difference, but it's difficult, PS4 is selling well, PSV could pick up with the new models and Wii U is a non factor.

I know, I think it looks really fun, but it's like the next in a long line of sort-of-mobile-esque-games that NIS have released for Vita at full price and have had less than stellar results =/

I was gonna say "wow, all the Famitsu sellthroughs are 80-100%!" but then I checked the site and I don't think they're right.

I had accidently replaced "～" with "〜" and since percentage numbers couldn't be read they all went to the default "<80-100%>" I had set. It's fixed now.

Had no clue PSV had nearly 700k (750k via Famitsu) this year. It's been silently trucking along since Dragon Quest Heroes.

Pretty attrocious for PS4 Pro. It's going to struggle next year with this year's BF prices starting to become the norm for the Slim bundles.

2DS has recovered after the weak start it had.

After 11 weeks it's at 126.993. LTDs for Sony's 2 systems will soon be passed, it's not so easy for the other from Nintendo.

PSV TV - 185.451
PSP go - 175.987
GB Micro - 587.487

It's been doing alright. Not a massive drop, but it's not keeping pace with last year and I doubt it's going to get close in the final few weeks. Minecraft bundle, new colours and general holiday bump will help, but it had a really good holiday bump last year (Minecraft advertising helped it loads).

It'll be the first year since 2012 where the hardware sells < 1m in a year, which is a shame, but there's only so long they could've sustained that with niche titles and the odd mid-range game.

It's been two whole days since FFXV was released. Where's the "fuck yeah we stuffed the channel hard enough and shipped a million copies" press release?

I mean I think if Vita continues to get games in Japan it will continue to move units. Vita is probably going to perform to a level slightly down from last year Simply there are games more suitable to the Vita especially if it's a game that won't be localized for outside of Japan.
Last year Vita did 1.069.471 and during December it sold around 200k of those.
