So games will then have to support...XBS/XBX/XB Next + PC. This is a very risky strategy if they simply create a typical console. I assume they have a rabbit up their sleeve...if not, this has a chance to be a huge egg in their face, and almost certainly the end of Phil's career.

It's like when Sega had the Genesis, the Sega CD, the 32X, and the Saturn all at the same time. Sega never recovered from that, but MS has been trying to speedrun Sega the past few years so it fits
