They're currently beta testing a GGPO-like online system that'll be rolled out soon. I'd be interested to see how it stacks up against GGPO

the OG MKX is on sale on the norwegian store. How much is combat pack 2? probably cheaper for me to do it that way. (I have to rebuy as the mp is region locked on ps4 )

How'd you get burned? You got the base game 6-7 months before the complete edition and could pay for the dlc or not. It's about whether or not how much you felt you got your money's worth from the vanilla package, if you didn't then you could say that but I hope it's not because you had to buy the game and dlc when you could've waited 180 days and got everything cheaper that you feel you got burned.
