Sweet, new thread! The old one has brought me many new films to watch, interesting analyses and some lolz, even back when I was still lurking GAF.
It appears I already have an ICM account, but I haven't been keeping up with it. I'll start using it, if I don't forget.. ICM: http://www.icheckmovies.com/profile/divius/

Some stuff I watched since I posted last:
The Tree of Life - I went with 2 friends and it was their first Malick film, to my surprise they liked it a lot and were totally speechless after the film. I myself liked it even better than the first time, which is always the case with Malick's films. It's so powerful and beautiful. Also the boy growing up was very recognizable to my own youth in some ways. 9.5/10
Hot Fuzz - So much fun. PUNCH. THAT. SHIT 7.5/10
The Kingdom - So yeah, the first hour and a half it isn't bad or anything, but it isn't very good either. Then, at the end, all hell breaks loose and there are these amazing and wonderfully directed action scenes, which makes me wonder why director Peter Berg didn't include any more in the film. Now you just have this problematic and boring script with a lot of layers of political bullshit. 7.5/10
The Fallen Idol - Carol Reed's The Third Man is one of my all-time favorites, but to my surprise I hadn't seen anything else he directed. The Fallen Idol is very well written and it looks amazing. I couldn't stand the little kid at times, but other than that it was great and a true classic. 8/10
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 & Kill Bill: Vol. 2 - Super enjoyable, awesome action, fun characters and it's just great to watch with some friends. 8/10
Speed Racer - So bad story wise, so awesome visually. That final race is just a 10 (?) minute eye-orgasm and the blu-ray looks amazing. GO SPEED GO! 7.5/10
