I'm not happy about this. As said before, nearly all the dlc was just re-hashed U2 stuff. The Fort was nice, but shade survival was terrible imo.
The DLC for Uncharted 3 was extremely disappointing anyway. Character skins and redone maps really shouldn't be taking up a large chunk of a season pass people buy - Not only that but it all felt rushed, lazy and worst of all lacking in the trophies department.

Patch 1.13 for Uncharted 3 - its not a unicorn, its Godzilla. Its coming to your PS3 around this August 14th. Due to the sheer amount of content and general information to explain were going to be firing off details about the patch over the course of a few blog posts.
Weve been working extremely hard to get Patch 1.13 thoroughly tested and ready for deployment. Patch 1.13 will contain an exciting new system, fresh DLC, and some gameplay fixes. For this first salvo, well just be addressing the upcoming gameplay fixes. Heres a rundown of gameplay fixes to expect:
Gameplay
- Increased recoil has been added to the G-MAL
- Deathmatch will now appear in round 5 instead of round 3 in Team Objective game modes
- Quitting out of Co-op will no longer count as a Competitive loss when signing-out/disconnecting
- Lab games no longer count towards the Leaderboard
- Death from Above medal now requires the player to be at least 2 meters off the ground
- Players can earn more than 1 Here, Hold This Medal in a match
- A collection of trophies have been added for each DLC pack available
- The TAU Sniper Pistol has been tuned so the rate of fire is up 30% and you pick 6 instead of 3 bullets upon collecting new ammo now
- The M9 blindfire accuracy has been reduced by 10% efficiency
- Cloaked level 3 is now immune to the effects of Disruption (it wasnt working properly so we fixed it)
I believe the next patch adds trophies:

They colored and italicized the word 'and' in that post, I guess that seals it.
Yup, poorly worded. Even if it was worded correctly, it just makes season passes an unattractive set of package (like we didn't know this already)
Most of the content in the season pass was mostly Uncharted 2 content too, right? Now that they have new content, you have to pay for it separately...
Yea ND didn't really word it very good and it is a little misleading but honestly it's not a big deal at the end of the day. Do people not know what season passes are? You are just going to save money on DLC. That's the bundle deal. Most people buy season passes because they already planned to buy all the DLC ahead of time anyway, so might as well save some money by buying the pass. Is the Fortune Hunters Club saving you money compared to paying for all the content individually? Yes it is.
If you sign up for a season pass you are mercy of the game studio for any future additions. If you don't think the already announced content isn't worth it, don't buy it. It's not like you can't buy the DLC at all anymore. Anybody who buys a season pass based on what could be or what might be is an idiot.
It was a crappy decision not to suport Move. Lesser games did it with not much dev effort. I can understand them focusing on the bottom line, but to flat out ignore something that would potentially make their game better, and require little effort to do, is a wrong thing to do, still. Those aren't really bad decisions. Move and Vita are DOA.

The next, and final, DLC in the Fortune Hunters’ Club will be coming at you next month...
god I can never trust another word Naughty Dog says.
Overrated mediocre dev tries to screw people with their DLC? How unbelievable.
charging for multi-player maps is a crappy trend in gaming... Especially in a game that's so dependent on it (multiplayer).
Doesn't support Move. Doesn't support Vita. Doesn't even support their own DLC package. Truly industry leaders everyone else should hope to follow.

I like how you're kind of trying to say "any upcoming DLC packs for Uncharted 3" is ambiguous and can sometimes not mean "any upcoming DLC packs for Uncharted 3".I get wanting to call that kind of thing out, and it makes sense to want to make us accountable, but it feels a little sensational to hinge everything on one sentence that was later explained before the program was up.
Yeah, unfortuate choice of words in that post when marketing's message was supposed to clear up how much content was upcoming as part of the FHC. This was the first season pass type program we've all worked on together, so there were a few fumbles like this - we shouldn't have had seemingly contradictory statements. To be fair, I keep reading it and I can only see that you're being really nit picky when the post specifically detailed the # of DLC that is covered under the FHC.
On top of that - we did post in March that the FHC program was coming to an end
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012...nal-fortune-hunters-club-dlc-coming-in-april/
So we made that explicit before the program was over.

So you want these developers to work for free when budgets for game development are already as high as it is? I never understand how some people feel like they should get something for free without ever considering the work involved.

We’ve kicked this deal up a few notches and are now offering 14 total packs, 7 new packs that we will be revealing as the year progresses! As a FHC member the savings for these 14 packs will be over 60%! Current membership and any new membership purchased will include all currently available and any upcoming DLC packs for Uncharted 3 as well as an exclusive Fortune Hunters' Club theme that will let you know when new Uncharted 3 DLC hits right from the XMB of your PS3.Poor wording, but it was always clear that it was originally 7 pieces of DLC content, and then 14 pieces of DLC content. There was always a number attached to it.
The product description on PlayStation.com also stated only 14 packs multiple times:

It's nice that you have come in here and cleared a few things up - But at the same time why has the content making up these packs been so lackluster? People want actually meaty content worth playing to extend the life of the game not some rehashed skins and lazy maps that at best should of been free in the first place.
Honestly to me it seems like Naughty Dog have taken the goodwill they have earned from the first two Uncharted titles and gotten lazy with the DLC for the third knowing us fans will likely lap it up.
This is something we could have relayed better somehow - that the content we did work on and put out required A LOT of work. How much work is one of the reasons brand new maps came out so late rather than earlier.

This only tells me how many packs you have announced, I don't see how it limits the deal in any way.Because we said only 14 packs will be included (initially 7 in the post from October). Requoting the whole passage yet again.
The season pass for Uncharted 3 was very bad to begin with. So just because it discounts a few DLCs (which were mostly rehashed Uncharted 2 content), everything is a-okay? If anything, people will lose trust into season pass and/or Naughty Dog's support in DLC because of this.
Naughty Bitches am cry
Cmon dude, that "one" sentence you point out as a "nit picky" is pretty unambiguous and the rest of the post doesn't contradict what most reasonable people would take as its meaning. And how does the link in your post address in any way people who purchased the FHC with that value in mind.
It's not just ND that does this, all companies do this. They just want your money now as opposed to later, even if they don't get 100% of the money if you bought individually. Most people will get swept up into the hype early with the games release and just buy all the content right away. A lot of people with out the option of the season pass will buy everything for the first few weeks or month and then decided later on that they don't wanna support this game anymore and move on. Companies are just trying to sucker those impulse buyers. Season passes only benefit the consumer if they planned on buying ALL of the DLC regardless of what it is.
That's the point.
Most of the "DLC" is actually content from Uncharted 1+2. Which of course means a bit of work to get it onto Uncharted 3 and add multiplayer stuff to it. But most of the work was already done - for Uncharted 1 + 2 - which people already paid for.
It mentions that the final DLC for the FGC is coming, but doesn't state anything that there would still be upcoming DLC for an additional cost not a part of it at all. That might seem obvious but the whole thing is honestly hard to follow, I always took it as once the pack ran through the 14 pieces there was no more UC3 DLC to come in general.
We've learned from this.
I still think they deserve to be paid for the maps. We don't know all the steps or work involved in creating or porting these maps from the older games. And how they are made in UC3 doesn't effect how the other poster believes all DLC maps should be free.
Man, that's some bullshit. If I'd have bought it I'd be really pissed. There's nothing at all ambiguous about the phrase "and any upcoming dlc packs".
Naughty Dog and Atlus are my two favorites, and they've both pulled some real anti-consumer bullshit this month. Kind of depressing.
We clearly and explicitly messaged in March that the FHC was coming to an end after the 14 pieces of content. That's my point - nobody bothers to look at the follow-up post? And that's not even mention in the OP - that we said that program was over before it was over.
Naughty Bitches am cry
So are you going to add that post from March where we said the FHC was over to your OP?
Again why is this relevant? So people missed that follow up post and the outrage is delayed till now. What does that have to do with the post made in january that extended the value of the FHC.
