I dont have VR. I personally don't believe in it on PS sorry. But I did pick uo the game anyway because I love Tetris that much - after your recommendation. Love it. Thabnks!
I'm happy to hear you're enjoying Tetris, out of all the versions of Tetris I've bought over the years Tetris Effect is really the most redefined version I own with endless replay value, a ton of different modes, visually electric and that soundtrack... such a complete package, found the soundtrack on Spotify this morning was listening on my commute into work.
I will say though you are only really getting half the meal deal, PSVR in general right now is red hot with obviously Tetris Effect, the recently released Beat Saber and soon to follow Borderlands 2 redone in VR. I thinks its easy to get why people think its cumbersome, I would challenge you though if you had a chance to actually sit down with a PSVR headset, not at a mall kiosk to demo one but really sit down with it in the comfort of your own home and tell me you're not having fun playing something like Beat Saber or Firewall Zero Hour, or are just completely blown away by the possibilities after playing something like Astrobot.
As a friend of mine said to me who is a super casual gamer, never tried VR, Its really too bad when PSVR games are reviewed they literally look like a PS2/ PS3 game being played with fish eye lense, when you play it though its not what you see in the reviews, it doesnt even feel like you're in your living room anymore. He was blown away after I set him up with a few things to play.
It is your call obviously, I'm just saying, if you liked my last recommendation theres probably never been a better or cheaper time to buy in especially between the Beat Saber/ Borderlands 2 bundle and the Moss/ Astrobot bundle.
