Just saw the trailer and I have to say I'm....intrigued. This actually looks like it will be the first Batman game that won't suck in quite a while. I'll definetly be keeping a close eye on this.

Looks ok. Nice models and atmosphere, but the animations could have been better. From the info it almost seems like a MGS-style game where you try to remain unseen rather than fight.

And yes, Mark Hamil sounds different indeed, I'd say.... Older.

Give him some time to ramp it up. You can hear it in the trailer a little, if he was going full-scream at you throughout the entire game it'd probably get really old.

The game starts pretty much how the trailer shows it: Batman escorts The Joker into Arkham, The Joker breaks free the second Batman is out of arm’s reach, the inmates at Arkham bust loose and take over the whole island. There’s also a plot point about Blackgate Prison being on fire, so a lot of Joker’s minions wind up at Arkham just before the break out. Killer Croc makes an appearance early on, Harley Quinn helps herself to a nurse’s outfit and a gun, and then the game lets the player take control of The Bat to try and get things under control.

the game that was canceled was the EA Dark Knight game. This is a totally different game that uses the comic licenses, not the movie ones.
