I saw this on TV a while ago and didn't even notice it was in-game, I thought it was one of those CG renders for TV that companies like Ubisoft tend to abuse.
I played DriveClub way back in July last year at a Sony press event and the game did NOT look good, it was honestly just Forza Horizon with awful jaggies. I'm actually quite impressed with how far along the game has come since.
