This has me frothing at the mouth for NG2.

Alright, alright. PS3 has better graphics, we get it game developers!
Petrarca said:NG2 will come to PS3 too, rite?
AltogetherAndrews said:That's... pretty damned impressive. This is one of those cases where I wish I liked the game squarely because it's so damned pretty. Maybe I'll hire someone to play it for me.
Odysseus said:This is me saying I hate buying repackaged games and think developers should stop making them.
This is me being hypocritical and saying I would totally get Sigma if/when I get a PS3.

As impressive as that is (and it is impressive), it certainly doesn't wow me any more than any number of things I've seen done on the 360.
That's all I have to say, at risk of sending this thread down a dark, miserable road of misery.
Higher polygon count all around, more gloss, dynamic lighting, self-shadowing, higher-res and depth of field used. It's a noticeable upgrade all around with some enemies receiving overhaul like that giant fossil dinosaur which actually has decay and left over skin on it. Most same art assets used obviously, but still the graphical upgrade should be obvious to anyone here.yahso said:nice comparison shots, Dahbomb, yet Ninja Gaiden Black does look similar to NG Sigma, but Sigma is more glossy and high-res.

Haha
I agree. The game looks like it should considering its on more powerful hardware. I really cant wait to see what they do ith NG2. I might be a little disappointed if it looks like NG in hi-res/on a better machine.yahso said:nice comparison shots, Dahbomb, yet Ninja Gaiden Black does look similar to NG Sigma, but Sigma is more glossy and high-res.

Agreed. The only level that was hard on Master Ninja was the first (flaming ninjas FTL). The way Team Ninja was talking about it, I expected Master Ninja to be total rape, when it wasn't much harder than Very Hard, just a few enemies got shifted into earlier parts in the game, that's about it.Hitler Stole My Potato said:WHY? Keep in mind that this is a last-gen port.Ezenzer said:Wait...what?
