There is one HUGE difference. Border Break doesnt suck.

Well that and same goes for the mech designs as this game looks like it was just asking to fail honestly.

I dunno, Border Break is fun but it's omega pay to win.

This looks slow but I won't say it sucks until I try it, if ever. Like the actual shooting seems okay. Watch some of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2_ZKBaqHMQ

The UI is kind of ugly though, reminds me of MGO. And you're right about the designs being kind of ugmo.

Its the general carrot and stick design for things like border break, key to avalon, quest for d, shining (whatever), sangoku / sengoku taisen, gundam senjyo no kizuna

basically if you dont play you are gonna get stomped due to others having spent more time and $$$ to obtain things or progress further than newer players.

so its not as if the concept is anything new.

I dunno after watching that 2 hour long video I think it looks okay lol.

Definitely slow but maybe fun. I'd try it.

I played probably 3 or 4 hours of Figureheads, the idea is actually pretty interesting, it's a cover based shooter where everybody has two AI companions who they can command and t hey are as powerful as the players, a bit slower since they have a reduced line of sights but still fairly powerful. They can capture points and do pretty much everything you can if you command them correctly, it's just a shame that the game is ugly as hell and none of the weapons feel any good to actually shoot.

There is also a single player challenge mode which was fun to blaze through. There isn't that much of a variance between the different robots in terms of the looks but you can potentially customize every single part and color them to your liking. Sadly the gameplay is so mediocre that it isn't really worth it except to maybe test it out if the AI commanding part sounds cool.

Coming to PS4 lol

No idea how many people ever played this on PC.

I totally forgot that this even came out. Granted on stuff I watch did not see too much of a buzz on it am guessing certain circles of gamers ignored or forgot about it also. Not surprising too with those ugly as fuck designs they used for the robots.

It seems like they do tournament events for it though poking around YT.

They should have used the Front Mission IP combined with the arena setting.
