I hope not. Bayonetta was a remarkably accessible from a mechanics stand point, and I'd think that would be something that Platinum is striving for with all their titles.
Competitive multiplayer would be lame, but co-op at this pace would be a thing for which to admire. However, depends how integrated the slowmo material is. I don't really play any MP, so putting all resources in to what I actually will play is perfect for me, I can see why it'd disappoint gamers that spend a lot of their time with MP in games though.
The gameplay looks like a lot of fun, and the story seems agreeably awful, as expected. Sign me up. I can't believe some posters actually complained about the animations. Why would that even matter if you're playing as a kickass acrobatic supersoldier who's armed to the teeth? Where's your sense of proportion?
