I really enjoyed the first game, so I would gladly take a second

Anyways, it would be very hard for Nintendo to convince me to get an upgraded DS (I don't need a camera or media playing functionality).

In terms of form factor too, the DS Lite really is very appealing, especially with the black and blue paint job mine has.

Anyways, I'll be waiting about 9:30pm tonight PST for the announcement. Can't wait to hear any sort of good news from Nintendo

Or New Super Mario World. Imagine the game using the SMW format (better overworld map, Yoshi, flying abilities), but complete with the wall-jumps and buttslams of NSMB! Exciting stuff, but maybe I'm getting too ahead of myself.

The handheld and console Mario teams are different. Hiroyuki Kimura's EAD # 4 group made NSMB while Takeo Shimizu's EAD Tokyo team made Mario Galaxy. Who knows, maybe both teams are making Mario sequels!
