My intention wasn't to be confrontational. My comments aren't specific to them halting production. The games are more important than the hardware. The trickle of games that they have announced is a good indication that support was nearing an end.
I see you post a lot of cool stuff in the retro threads, so I was just a bit surprised by your drive by shit post. 32x fans not withstanding, it seemed clear at the time what you were implying. Which is why I made the comments about only buying a system if the current library appeals to you. Don't base it on what you hope might come out. You know, like you do when buying into your retro systems.
I love what they were able to get out on the U, I think it gets far to much crap.
maybe not confrontational but definitely defensive. i really don't know what crap other people are giving Wii U and i don't make shit posts. if you're fan of the Wii U that's great but it doesn't change the fact they're shifting focus after finally releasing some decent potential system seller games.
why did i say 32x is bc SEGA did pretty much the same thing and abandoned it after people brought it. I wasn't going to fall for it. if you want to get technical and say X number of games were already out on Wii U etc. etc. shall i say then it's like the Sega CD, Saturn. or can i say the DSi? i'll throw in lynx and neogeo pocket.
whatever the case, i posted exactly what i thought bc i was about to BUY the system, not to personally take a dump on you or Wii U fans. and if that stirs certain emotional apologetic fervor, it's not going to change my opinion that i felt i was almost duped.
if it was about a month later, and read the news after i brought the system and couldn't return it. i still wouldn't be shitting on the thread but i'd legit be pretty upset and prob compare it to the 32x as inaccurate as that sounds to you.
alright! but i will see you on the ps1 and retro threads! i like your ps1 collection, btw!
