If, and thats a big if, nintendo manage to get some stream, yakuza might even be a middle hit, breaking the 15k barrier. i hope so. Aint going to buy it cause my money is on 101, but would be nice to see that game having a good reception. For now, it all depends on this month.

They are running limited instore demos of Yakuza at a few select locations to drum up some interest. 15K would probably be pushing it for a late HD-port though, especially on Wii U, but I am hopeful it does somewhat well.

Where are the in-store demos? I've never seen a WiiU demo unit anywhere in Japan, and would like to actually try the console (never saw a Wii demo unit, either).

So, this is weird. The Wii U has no instore demos in Japan that I am aware of, however, on the following dates, people will be able to try out Yakuza 1&2 HD for Wii U. You also get a phone strap for participating.

July 20th - 12PM - 7PM
