Master of Disguise is much better than the OP attests. At least better than WL4.

Fantastic soundtrack too.
Its a decent game but its plagued with pacing issues and the soundtrack is only good during the boss fights

Deserves a better rep then its got tho certainly

I would love a new Wario World game on Wii U, with Co-op Wario and Waluigi gameplay.

Imagine the moves they could pull off with each other to hit enemies. Wario could grab Waluigi and spin him around hitting enemies. Wario could also throw Waluigi like a javelin to reach new places. Waluigi could be the demolition specialist and throw bombs to break walls and hit enemies.

I can see alot of potential with the idea. I hope Nintendo hasn't forgotten about Wario World...

Always felt the 1 million coins gimmick in NSMB2 should have been a Wario game instead.

I'd love to go back to the Wario Land 1 style of play.

I got Wario Land 4 off the Wii U VC a week ago and have already played through the game twice and am now starting the S-Hard playthrough. I always thought that adding the health bar back into the game really helped make the escape portions of the levels more tense since you're first instinct is to frantically run back towards the goal even though the could easily endanger you if you aren't careful.

I've played through all of the Wario Land games aside from the Virtual Boy installment (yes, even Master of Disguise). It's a wonderful series and I like the way that it differentiates from Mario with the increased focus on puzzle solving.

Actually now that I think about it, with the way 3-D Mario has shifted during the past two cycles toward a return to the linear obstacle course-style games (starting with Galaxy, and pushing that even more directly with 3-D Land/World), Wario might be a weirdly perfect fit to slip into the role of the MS64 or Sunshine style of game, featuring larger worlds with a bigger emphasis on exploration, puzzles, and enemy interaction rather than straight up platforming. That would be assuming they wanted to even make a 3-D Wario game, I'd be more than content if they just kept with the style of the 2-D games, as I've loved all of them (except, again, for Master of Disguise).

Whether Wario or not, Nintendo NEEDS to get another game made in Shake It!'s art style though, the hand-animated work in that game was so gorgeous and made even some of the game's duller moments a treat to me. The lovely soundtrack helped out a lot, too.
