That market apparently doesn't exist anymore on consoles. That is partly what the original quoted material is highlighting, which is just weird that such a massive pool of the group just up and vanishes overnight.
Regarding physical copies that seems plausible. I just assumed that mostly men set up the consoles for the kids and therefor are linked to their purchases.
Why wouldn't the purchaser of the physical product be the one to set it up for controls and primary use?
