I'm still in the process of watching but I've taken this impression from gamefaqs to use as a summary of sorts:

Canonshot finishers. Good speed, really fast, a bizarre parry it seems that has a really long animation and overall really feels like a Ninja Gaiden speed weapon in Nioh. Tons of new enemies too, saw around 3 new types already and some variational types.

The Guardian Spirit Date used is usable here, and it's pretty sick. It drops those waterpools when guardian talismaned and also trips the enemy; good combo for crowdcontrole.

EDIT: some foes can enter Living Weapon, pretty sick. Dog enemies too (outch...)

EDIT2: Tonfa scaled with "Skill, Strength and Heart". Not sure which order.

I see a number of Onmyou elemental spells.

There's the Wind "Homing soul mass" barrage, and the Earth AOE explosion.

I think each element have one of these special spells. Making it more viable towards spellcaster build? Hopefully we get an Onmyou set like how Ninja has a build set.
