Calling $600/£500. See how good I am at speculation in a couple of days then.
Its gonna be $599 and it will still sell out.
Well, I'm not committing my credit card information to something without knowing the price.
If there is no price I consider this more of putting yourself in line on a waiting list.
I7 930 at 4ghz has served me well up to this point. Doubt it would be an issue.if your MB is usb 2.0. chances are that your system is not fast enough to provide the ideal VR experience anyway.
Them seemingly not giving a price before pre-orders go live doesn't bode well for wallets.
Interesting that they would announce you can preorder it before they announce any other details. It's most likely going to drop for $650+ in March or April.
No price still? They must be fucking terrified of the reaction or something, only reason I can think of honestly.
Why do people think they aren't going to tell us a price before preorders?
Because it's crazy they haven't announced a price already.
1000 us Dinero that website homepage makes me want to stick a tomato in that guys mouth. A spicy tomato.Because it's crazy they haven't announced a price already.
Is there anything pointing to Sony making their price/date announcements at CES?
Why would they announce price then give you two days to talk yourself out of a purchase?
Yep, I think it is a great idea to spend 400 on a piece of equipment when you don't meet the recommended requirement especially for a platform that ONLY works if you meet the requirements.Hoping for $400, but thinking probably $500. Palmer recently said they are good at keeping their promises and linked to an article where Brendan said the total package for Oculus is $1500 (which included the price estimate of a $1000 dollar VR ready PC)
It's going to sell out regardless
I think that's obvious at this point.
If the price point isn't revealed until the preorder goes live that points to be it being more expensive than what a lot of people are hoping for. They are relying on impulse buys instead of giving you the price early and having people rationally talk themselves out of it.
