Pretty much, the Bucs in Madden 2005 are exactly like the real life Bucs. I go as far as my defense takes me :lol

I'd really be curious to see my stats for the second half of the season, after I stopped getting blown out every game. Oh well, Season 3, here we come! :D

:lol One day that D has to go bye bye...right? :(

that D already did go bye-bye in week 17! its going to go bye-bye again in the superbowl, when the chadster tears them to pieces again... if DM makes it that far!

p.s. be careful DM, or i might put quincy in on ALL goal line situations!

:lol

Quincy with his 2 pass plays and 2 INTs, I love it! Didn't Parcells warn you?! You can't trust him! Crack is bad, it's only good when you wear #56 and can sack QBs!

+31 TO Diff. :lol

That is RIDICULOUS. Especially considering that all your games did not record stats.

You can't say you aren't the luckiest fucking player in the league. :|

Lonestar

I joined for Erin Brockovich discussion
by the stats I've pulled off the ea site, plus manipulations of the data, I predict DaAnswer3 to win. Pretty much does everything right. One of the better plays at Red Zone Scoring percentage, 3rd down Percetage, INSANE TO Difference (as noted) strong defense in the red zone (heck, the lowest allowed TIMES into the red zone.) While not having as many run/pass attempts, gets the job done. Highest yards per run (almost 5 yds per attempt!) and 55% pass completions.

I hope I never play against you!! :lol :lol

Thanks Wellie, that rocks!

Ram, maybe his hot routes are keeping blockers in to pick up the blitz?

Slo

Yeah. Hit hot route, the button of the TE or RB you want to stay in and block, and then the white or black button for block left and block right.

Why do you call so many hot routes Wellie? In my experience most of them don't work that well...

Yup, I don't call more than 1 or 2 receiver route hot routes per game. I call almost all of them to keep extra blockers in. I've gone many-a-play with just two receivers running routes. The Giants O-Line just does not get me any time. I do something else on offense to help that O-Line, but I don't want to mention it going into my game with Matrix tonight.

Can't wait until Season 3 :lol So sad that I am still #2 in allowing quarterback pressure.

I used to have a lot of trouble getting time to pass with the Redskins O-line and was using a lot of hot blocking. But then I started moving up into the pocket immediately after the snap, then moving back, and it seems to have alleviated 90% of my problems with pass rushing. Not to say that I've been invincible to sacks, but in the last half of my season I've been sacked far far less. I've also experimented with putting Portis/Betts in motion on shotgun plays and it seems to draw the d-line/LB AI well enough to give Ramsey time to throw. I'm surprised you're only going out on many offensive plays with just 2 WRs....but then again, you are #2 in rushing. Hopefully with the Bills you'll flex your passing muscles.

Man, I missed this thread. Thanks for doing that FMT. I see you're missing the passing awards! I came in second by the way. :D

BOB OWNED. FINALLY I BEAT YOU IN AN OFFENSIVE CATEGORY!

Man I thought for SURE I had best passing percentage and best third down conversion percentage, Bob stole them out from under me. :(

i had to double check that peyton manning completion stat. 200/446 isn't anywhere near even 50%, so that's why his rating is slightly below eli's even though his TD/INT ratio looks better

p.s. it should be noted that some of that 200/446 was on jim sorgi, but EA says no individual stats, so we'll never know how much of that 44% passing is attributed to him :D

629 passes, 57 percent completion, nearly 4500 yards, 32 td passes, and only 26 sacks. Damn my passing game with the rams is so sexy. I should have tried my hand at the colts next.
