I mean, it's not terrible, but doesn't seem like a poster that will attract non gamers.

I certainly don't find it as eye catching as the one for the game itself.

Im looking forward to the movie, but that poster is pretty hideous. On a side note, I guessing we might see a teaser trailer for this soon.

That's horrible. Looks like a DTD film. Movie will probably suck, but at least the poster might have at least been good. Modern film conveniences strike again.

Not a good poster. Then again, I'm not a fan of casting Vikander as Lara Croft in the first place. Thought it should have gone to Felicity Jones. Still intrigued by the movie though, and maybe Vikander will win me over with her performance.

Still wish it was Daisy Ridley playing Lara but Alicia is a good actress too. Film is still probably gonna be shit cause videogame movie.

This has to be a joke. The head looks so much bigger than the body. It looks super imposed and attached to some sort of strange martian creature's neck.

But who knows if this movie sucks or not.

Square Enix name on the lower-left corner - do they own the entire IP for Tomb raider outright, or does this mean the story is gonna be ripped direct from the games they published?

She doesn't need to slum it in VG-Adaptation land for at least another 5 years.

This is actually a decent ape of the games cover/style. The one I'm the op is an atrocious ape of the new raiders style. Both do the same thing just one is so much worse at it.

Yeah nothing they've shown about this movie makes me feel confident in it which is a shame because I did really love the game. Based on the few details about the plot, it seems like they're taking some of the worst aspects about the new games (the shit with her dad) and making it even more important. Plus I just can't get into the casting.

They own the IP. Eidos owned it previously, and SE bought Eidos.

I'm still semi-interested in this film. Vikander should be good at the very least. Hopefully the trailer will look more promising than this.

You sure it's not for the sequel to Alient Covenant.

Ridley has been experimenting with new xenomorph forms and this looks like the next step.
