PAL Charts - Week 37, 2015

Thanks.

At this point, I suppose digital sales have a bigger share than usual for this game.

Ohh I like to see how much DriveClub Sold since it sold over 2 million as well.

Also we must not forget digital sales as well.

I'm thinking the same thing.

Japan: ~250K
Europe: ~500K
NPD (first month): ~400K

That leaves 850K for rest of the world plus, 6 months of North America and Digital.

Well dont forget Japan.

I mean we can just look at one place and judge sales.

No of course, but if The Order is at around 600-700k WW, with 360K in Europe, and Bloodborne is at over 2 million WW, with 400K in Europe, it's quite the disparity. Though guessing The Order didn't resonate as well in Japan as Bloodborne, but according to a poster earlier, that'd add about 200k to the 2 million tally of Bloodborne.

So either the Euro numbers aren't quite accurate enough, or The Order's popularity in Europe vs RotW is very uncommon (afaik).

Edit: or the 600-700k WW number for The Order (that was guessed earlier in this thread?) isn't right.

Digital Bloodborne was bundled for free with PS4 in Japan from July 16th until September (presumably ends with the PS4 price cut Oct 1st).

Europe report for the first half of the year is in this week's issue of Gamesmarkt!!!

New thread with all info coming soon.

Meanwhile, here's a little tease:

01. Grand Theft Auto V - 2.354.391
10. Bloodborne - 406.372
12. The Order: 1886 - 368.954

So, here the BloodBorne estimate:
400,000 in Europe by end of June.
475,000 in the US by end of April.
200,000 in Japan by end of April.

1 million WW by end of March
2 million WW by half of September

Interesting sales, wonder how much sold in digital... well, deserved.

It's just one country (UK) but it's a good indication that digital sales were strong for Bloodborne since they accounted for a third of its overall sales during the first 2 months of sales.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=165894698&postcount=132

Here is a rough estimate for Bloodborne.

Code:
[March, 2015] Bloodborne (Sony Computer Entertainment) - 45,053 (29,538) / 74,591
[April, 2015] Bloodborne (Sony Computer Entertainment) - 41,000 (13,960) / 54,960 [129,551 LTD]

MCV says that physical Bloodborne March numbers are up to March 26th, I'm sure that it's a mistake and they actually are up to March 28th.

We're missing the last week of April, I guesstimated that it sold around 5,000 units. Anyway, one thousand units more or less won't change anything.[/QUOTE]

More of the same of what made the game bomb.
You have no logic here. It's simply "bomb" "bomb" "bomb". You can even check all the reviews, if you want. Have you even played it? The game is damn good, got good reviews, yadayada. The game bombed for a lot of reasons (for example, because of the dying platform and because of the genre.) The game itself is good. Changing something on the gameplay part wouldn't make it sell better. That's nonsense.

That's why the game bombed again on PS4. Yes, your logic is far superior. I'm tired of this conversation anyway. Good day.
Of course you're tired. You have nothing useful to say.

01. (NE) Super Mario Maker (Wii U)
02. (01) Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Day One Edition (PlayStation 4)

05. (18) The Last Of Us (Remastered) (PlayStation 4)

Hell yes! Until Dawn is still rocking the charts.

This "story" reads to me like they're trying to force Sony and MS to reveal download figures, "or we'll keep saying that gaming is dying!".
I expect nothing but constant year on year declines in physical sales, as Sony and MS are starting to really ramp up on sales and price cuts.

Would adding 20-30% (to account for digital) make the numbers seem much better compared to say last year?

Splatoon and Yoshi have really good legs in Germany!
Really wish we got an update on Hardware and Software sales from Nintendo DE :(
MGSV hopefully you didn't drop that bad.
Lastly since Mario Maker debuted at #1 would that put it at least 20k+(since MGSV PS4 is probably above that)?

Was there a sale on The Order in Germany or something? Hard to believe that a poorly received game that released 6 months ago charted ahead of the Xbone edition of MGS. What sort of numbers are we talking about in the top 10 here?

Also, a little off topic but I thought I'd ask here since many PAL players occupy the thread. Does anyone know if Project Zero 5 is getting a retail release beyond the Nintendo Store limited edition here? It looks like that version has sold out in the UK and I don't really fancy using the Nintendo eshop for anything honestly.

If in UK getting 5k guarantees a spot in top 10 then I don't think it will be much different in Germany. Rather number 10 should be around 3k if I have to make a guess

PS4 had a lot of cheap hardware online sales in germany. I guess new PS4 owners buy some "older" games with their new system.

I love seeing Until Dawn do so well, shame Tearaway isn't charting higher. I played the demo of that this week and instantly went off to Amazon to pick it up. Price disparity on that title isn't huge (for most it's significant) so perhaps a lot of sales are digital.

I guess all the Tearaway sales are digital in germany. I don't know what the hell Sony Computer Entertainement Germany was thinking with a 69,99€ retail price. They killed it instantly. PSN price is 39,99€.

I find really hard to believe that Tearaway: Unfolded couldn't have even cracked the German top 100, especially seeing how the game at least took the 19th spot on the UK chart.

Was it widely available?

Edit: Well, here's the reason :p

I had overlooked Toro's comment.
