Yeah, interested in seeing Fire Emblem sales when it finally comes out over here as it's a bigger franchise worldwide, but Nintendo Europe banked on Bravely again.
Thank fuck my 3DS is hacked though, couldn't wait for either of the games.

That's very big gap between XBO and PS4. Timed exclusivity works better than I thought.

I was laughed at when questioning the 2m mark by the end of March but now it's looking less and less likely unless Capcom will overship.
No and TBH EA Access is I'm sure smaller than attributed. The main issue will be effect of the first being timed exclusive. It's been reported by various devs that it almost always embeds a skew for future titles.
Ironically I expect Tomb Raider to buck the trend (i.e. it'll end up selling more on PS4) but for this seems normal pattern for a title that was previously timed.
The question I'd love some analysis on is does the effect just mean different spread of sales or actual lost sales?

Face it guys, SFV is Sony's equivalent of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Exclusivity deals that just didn't pan out for anybody.

Just found it quite inverse of last few weeks and also no new XBO exclusive have come out to give XBO owners to go out and buy more software...

Like others have said, both have their reasons for not selling. Both flopped. I love both, seems like great games dont sell this gen (by great games i mean the ones I like)
Well I know via buying it that Gears of War was down to £12. I'd expect to see a Forza 6 re entry next week too since it dropped to between £20 and £25 over the weekend.

SF5 is here for a good while yet. It will continue to sell as it gets taken up as a pro tournament fave.

Truth is TR should should destroy SF in sales if they get close that is bad for TR .
It took 4 games and 7 years for SF to get close to the TR reboot sales.
Capcom just hope that over the years SFV sell more .

This is actually similar to what the FC4 split was, but for the console families (PS was 59%, XB 41%).
After everyone expectation dead on bottom tx to the bad reception of the title on japanese release, it is not shocking to see people being surprised of its performance here especially in UK lol.

Just looked back over HUKD's posts from last week. No real widespread promotions that I could see, though Halo's, Gears and AC Syndicate all seemed to have some good deals on XO.
I'm still going to say half term was the main factor. It's the biggest difference to the usual status quo, and we've seen kid focused titles doing better than average on 360 and XO for a while just generally.

The company that did Operation Raccoon City once, then for their anniversary announcement does Umbrella Corps won't repeat the same mistakes? What about the company that is letting people experience the terribly received RE6 once again to get that fresh in their mind before any other new RE games out?
The one thing you can bet on with Capcom is that they will and always will do that again.
Street Fighter is not that big in Germany anyways, never was. Lack of arcade culture and practically no PC support until 4 will lead to that.
It's way down on Steamspy's stats for the game, too.
