Wow, wow, wow! What an impressive number. Quite a turnaround for Sony this gen. Looks like focusing on the pure gaming experience at a fair price has helped them tremendously. I don't see 2016 slowing down any either, especially with the strong release schedule PS4 has.

Also, two threads active, should probably merge those!

What was the last official number and when was it announced?

Edit - Looks like they sold close to six million consoles over the holidays.
